Jodie Robertson is a lifelong Grand Rapids native, entrepreneur, and community advocate committed to bringing people together. A wife of 33 years, mother of three, and proud grandmother of eight, her family and faith in community guide everything she does.

As the owner of four locally rooted businesses, including Southern Smoke, HBJ Grand Salons, and A Grand Rapids Senior Social Exchange, Jodie has built a legacy of service, entrepreneurship, and connection. She also leads a nonprofit focused on mentoring teen parents and supporting their children.

Having been raised by her grandmother and becoming a teen parent herself, Jodie’s lived experiences fuel her passion for creating spaces where individuals and families feel supported, valued, and empowered. She opened her first business at 19 and continues to uplift the Grand Rapids community she proudly calls home.
